Welcome to the Primary School of Green Land International School

The primary School is divided into two schools (English & French):

  • Green Land International School
  • École Internationale du Pré Vert

There is a comprehensive programme of lessons, which is enhanced by many related activities involving library studies, videos, information technology and trips. Pastoral care is a vital part of the School’s responsibilities and grade teachers play a central role in ensuring the well being of the pupils in their charge.

Subjects studied include: French, English, Arabic Mathematics, Sciences, Physical Education (PE), History & Geography, Information Technology (IT), Music, Arts, and Drama.

The School staff comprises of qualified teachers from different countries who are all committed to the philosophy of GPIS.

At the primary school of GPIS the PYP of the International Baccalaureate is implemented. It is designed for students between 3-12 years old.

In order to get the most of the diversity of our students and in order to promote their understanding and awareness of the whole world.
Inquiry based:
Our teaching methods constitute a collection of various types of methods, they are student centred and are based on students’ interests.

Transdiciplinary programme

In order to develop their thinking, their communication, social, research and self management skills.

Students of GPIS are encouraged to put into practice what they have learnt. The School has an active student council. Moreover, the School has developed a social programme called the volunteer child where students have to act in their local community realising project to help the society, this programme is done with ICA ( The Institute of Cultural Affairs )
